Attaching view-agent to your application's installer

To perform this step:

  • 1. Download the view-agent version for the operating system for which you are preparing your application installation package.
  • To do so, log in and click on one of the icons below.

  • - Note!

    Note that the name and extension of the view-agent file vary depending on the target operating system. For Windows, it is AppVersionInfo.exe, AppVersionInfo.app for macOS, and AppVersionInfo.AppImage for Linux. In the rest of the documentation, we use the common name: view-agent.

  • 2. Add the downloaded view-agent file in the installer project of your application so that it can run view-agent after installation. The easiest solution is to place view-agent in the installation folder of your application.
